Nike Air Max Zero Celebrates Air Max Day

Last year, on Air Max Day, Nike introduced the Air Max Zero, a new model that’s actually quite old; the shoe was based on an original design sketch that Tinker Hatfield created while conceptualizing the Air Max 1 back in 1987. On Air Max Day 2016, Nike will revive the second-ever colorway of the Zero.
Released and instantly sold-out back in January, the Nike Air Max Zero Vivid Sulfur sports a yellow mesh upper overlaid with seamless white panels and set against a navy liner. The bright colorway brings the Air Max Zero’s story full circle; this is the colorway that Tinker actually drew in that original design sketch.
