Nike Basketball Introduces “King’s Cork” With The LeBron 12 EXT

We’re only a few days away from Nike Basketball continuing the “Cork” legacy with the latest LeBron 12 EXT. As we ready for basketball season and an array of new signature models, LeBron’s twelfth silhouette is on its last legs and this enticing EXT variety takes the coveted cork construction to a whole new level in a last hurrah. You might remember seeing the Cork construction on the instant-classic that was the Nike LeBron 10, but after some on-feet issues, perhaps the Cork variation of the LeBron 11 never saw the light of day because of LBJ’s refusal to wear the shoe. This year has seen the return of the “Wheat” look that caught so many people’s attention during LeBron’s rookie season and now Nike Basketball is winking at a standout LeBron release that wasn’t too long ago. The Nike LeBron 12 EXT “Cork” manages to bring something new to the table thanks to a bolstered posite overlay contrasting in black while a metallic gold Swoosh stands out. The outsole even utilizes a classic gum shade while keeping the new-aged Hexagonal Air units intact. Catch a better look below and let us know if you’re a fan of the latest Nike LeBron 12 EXT “King’s Cork”, a shoe that releases this Saturday, September 12th, by taking your thoughts to the comments section.

The Future Of The Air Jordan Is Coming Whether You Like It Or Not

One of the biggest developments of 2014 was the revelation of the Jordan Future – a brand new design that adapted a fully woven/mesh upper with the sole of the Air Jordan 11. As expected, the public response was polarizing, with one group applauding the daring attempt at extending the lineage laterally and others deriding the Jordan Future for “cheapening” the legacy of the Air Jordan 11. The fact is, Jordan Brand will eventually have to create a new generation of footwear that operates on a different parallel because sooner or later, the consuming public will be comprised of people who weren’t even born when MJ took his Last Shot. The Jordan Future did experience success over the last calendar year, with various releases ensuring no shortage of that lovable Air Jordan 11 sole, and today we’re getting a look at the next installment of the Future line that will carry the brand into the next generation. It doesn’t need to be explained what the shoe is – it’s an Air Jordan 13 with a mesh upper that mimics the iconic design from 1998, and while a woven version isn’t shown just yet, you can expect that to be a prominent player when this shoe, potentially named the Jordan Horizon, comes into play. Peep the three upcoming colorways below and expect these in 2013.
